Held twice-monthly, the Contact Centre provides a venue for children of separated families to meet and spend time with their non-resident parent. The Centre is co-ordinated and manned entirely by volunteers who aim to create a relaxed and informal environment, acting in a purely supportive role. Families visit from a wide catchment area with some non–resident parents travelling from as far as the Midlands.
On an average Saturday we welcome between 7-9 families. We offer all a warm welcome and a listening ear if needed. Our Minister Phillip makes regular ‘pop ins’, there are few sessions he misses, his presence is supportive for both our volunteers and the families who attend.
