The Guildford URC Music Society
The Guildford United Reformed Church Music Society was formed in 1992 to make music of a high standard widely available.
Besides engaging well-established artists, we take much pleasure in encouraging the many talented young musicians of today. We also wish to foster the love of, and interest in, music among children. With this aim, we offer a series of Saturday afternoon workshops for children between 6 and 11 years.

Membership is open to everyone at an annual subscription of £10 with concessions on admission charges.

Guildford United Reformed Church
We are fortunate in being able to hold all our concerts in the church at 83 Portsmouth Road, which has one of the best church organs in the south of England. There is parking available (at the rear only) for concert-goers.
This is a modern church with excellent acoustics and has the loop system for the hard-of-hearing. There is easy wheelchair access and a warm and relaxed atmosphere where refreshments are also available.
Where To Find The Venue
If you are walking, we are close to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Take the footpath over the river, past the Borough Council entrance and continue up Porridge Pot Alley. At the top, bear slightly left and immediately cross the road into Millmead Terrace. From here you can see the church. Walk straight up through the car park to the front entrance at 83 Portsmouth Road. (about 5 minutes walk from the theatre).
